The International Foundation for Civil Society is founded on the recognition that the sweeping political, social and economic change taking place in the Middle East and North Africa is a reflection of the demands of the young generation for improvement in their conditions and reversal of decades of authoritarianism. More importantly, it is founded on the assumption that the sweeping changes taking place in MENA is influenced by both internal and external factors.
